Sunekos® Performa is the evolution of the patented Professional Dietetics formula: low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with a new proportion of the six HY6AA amino acids. This rebalancing of the formula is its distinguishing feature — the manufacturer associates it with a significant reduction in the action of hyaluronidase on the injected hyaluronic acid. It is supplied pre-mixed, ready to use.

Composition and technology
- Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate).
- Patented HY6AA formula: the same six amino acids of the range —glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCl, L-valine and L-alanine— but in a new proportion to one another. It is the only substantive change compared with Sunekos® 200.
Declared distinguishing feature: according to the manufacturer, the new proportion of amino acids allows a significant reduction in the action of hyaluronidase, quantified as 40 % less degradation of the injected hyaluronic acid.
Format: unlike Sunekos® 200 and Sunekos® 1200, which are supplied in two vials that must be combined before the session, Sunekos® Performa is supplied already pre-mixed and ready to use. The manufacturer keeps the exact proportions of the formula proprietary.

Indications and treatment areas
Indications: wrinkles and skin laxity, within advanced protocols aimed at skin quality.
Areas of use indicated by the manufacturer: face, periocular area and neck. The product documentation additionally covers the décolleté and the dorsum of the hands.
Technique and treatment protocol
- Protocol: 1 session every 2 weeks, 3 times. A 4th session is optional depending on the patient.
- First session: the manufacturer's documentation states that the first injection of the cycle is administered with Sunekos® 1200, which acts as a structural scaffold; Sunekos® Performa covers the subsequent sessions.
- Needle: 30G–32G of 4 to 13 mm.
- Cannula: 25G, 27G or 30G of 40 mm.
- Plane: mid-deep dermis.
- Injection orientation: perpendicular to the folding lines of the skin.
- Pre-mixed product: it requires neither reconstitution nor combination of vials before the session.
Anatomical caution in the periocular area: in the documentation for the range, the manufacturer warns that the orbital septum must never be reached and that the skin must be inspected to avoid small-calibre veins.

Storage and pack contents
- The pack contains: the vials of pre-mixed solution. Needles and cannulas are not included. Check the exact volume per vial on the labelling of the pack received.
- Storage: store the vials in their original packaging, protected from direct light and from heat sources, in accordance with the indications on the pack.
- Do not use after the expiry date stated.
- Sterile single-use vials. Use the contents immediately after opening. Do not reuse or re-sterilise.
Contraindications and warnings
Contraindications: known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or to any of the amino acids of the formula; pregnancy and breastfeeding; minors; active infection or inflammation in the area to be treated; flaring dermatosis over the puncture area.
Warnings: do not inject intravascularly. In the periocular area, do not reach the orbital septum and avoid the superficial veins. The manufacturer requires prior specific training in the techniques of the range and intends the product exclusively for qualified healthcare professionals.
