The quality of a hyaluronic acid filler determines the safety and efficacy of the treatment. And the market is saturated with suppliers offering counterfeit products — often indistinguishable at a glance. That is why we follow a simple rule: if we cannot verify the origin of a unit, it does not enter our warehouse.
How to recognize a counterfeit product
It is worth knowing the warning signs, regardless of where the product comes from. These are the four that appear most frequently:
Missing documentation
No certificate, no technical data sheet, and no clear manufacturer information. Missing documentation is never an oversight.
Suspiciously low price
Far below the market price without explanation. A discount has a reason; an anomaly has a cause.
No CE marking
No official certification, or a certificate that cannot be verified with the issuing body.
Incorrectly labeled packaging
Typos, inconsistent languages, illegible batch numbers, or boxes that do not close properly.
Our inspection process
Every product reference added to the catalog passes through four filters before becoming available for ordering:
- 1 Trusted partners We work exclusively with recognized manufacturers and suppliers established in the industry for years. No opaque intermediaries or opportunistic purchasing.
- 2 Origin and certification Our European products are manufactured in the EU and bear the CE marking. For products For products manufactured outside the EU, we verify the CE certificate with the issuing body before accepting them.
- 3 Packaging condition Upon receipt, we check packaging integrity, labeling, batch number, and expiry date. Any unit with compromised packaging is blocked and not delivered.
- 4 Storage and transport Temperature- and humidity-controlled storage, with particular attention paid during the summer months. The cold chain remains unbroken between our facilities and your practice.
Verify it yourself
We do not ask you to trust us: we give you the tools to verify it. Every unit leaving our warehouse can be verified at the source.
- Control number Each product bears its individual number on the packaging, alongside the batch number and expiry date.
- Manufacturer database Many manufacturers allow you to enter that number online and confirm authenticity instantly.
- Direct contact You can also contact the manufacturer with the control number and request written verification.
Who we sell to, and why it matters
PIEL ETERNA suministra exclusivamente a hospitales, clínicas, médicos y authorized distributors. Sale to the general public is prohibited.
This is not a commercial restriction; it is a safety requirement. A product intended for professional use a professional product in untrained hands ceases to be a medical device and becomes a risk. Verifying who is buying is part of ensuring what is delivered.

Transparency, including its limits

As a distributor, PIEL ETERNA does not assume responsibility for clinical efficacy or regarding how the products are used. In the event of a complaint concerning the product itself, the manufacturer is the competent point of contact — and we will help you forward it.
