Needleflex 18G × 100 mm is a flexible blunt-tip cannula manufactured by Mesotech S.r.l. (Naples, Italy) for the administration of fillers and injectable preparations in aesthetic medicine. It combines a highly flexible stainless steel tube with a plastic connection hub, so that the cannula glides under the skin without cutting it, allows large areas to be treated from a single entry point and reduces the number of punctures. It is supplied sterile, in a box of 100 units.

The blunt-tip design reduces tissue trauma and, according to the manufacturer, lowers the risk of haematomas and inflammatory reactions compared with a conventional needle, as well as allowing the number of injection points to be reduced. The 18G gauge and the 100 mm length place this reference among the longest-reach cannulas in the range, suitable for work in deep planes and over large surfaces.
The cannula is introduced through a prior micropuncture made with a guide needle of the appropriate gauge, according to the relevant clinical protocol.
Storage and handling
- Store in a clean, dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
- Sterile single-use product: do not reuse or re-sterilise.
- Do not use if the individual pack is open or damaged, or after the expiry date indicated.
- Used cannulas are considered contaminated material and must be disposed of in a sharps container.
