Nucleofill® Hair is the hair reference in Promoitalia's polynucleotide range: a sterile sodium DNA gel for professional use, with a molecular weight of around 1,500 kDa and a viscosity of 35–43 Pa·s, formulated specifically for the scalp. Its ingredient list is deliberately short — water, sodium chloride and sodium DNA — with no added vitamins or vasodilators. Syringe of 2 ml.

Note on the concentration: Promoitalia's public documentation presents divergent values for this reference — the Nucleofill® Hair data sheet states 2 %, while that of Nucleofill® Medium Plus, with identical physical parameters, declares 20 mg of polynucleotides in 2 ml. Given this discrepancy, no single concentration value is stated here; the binding figure is the one on the pack.
Mechanism of action described by the manufacturer: the polynucleotides reduce androgenic affinity at receptor level, increase cellular energy metabolism and improve microcirculation, thereby increasing the supply of nutrients to the follicle.
Promoitalia does not publish the biological origin of the polynucleotides in this reference; for that reason no source is stated here.

The hair references (Hair and Medium Plus) use a lower molecular weight than the 2,500 kDa facial products, which translates into a lower viscosity and a more homogeneous diffusion in the superficial plane of the scalp.
Indications and treatment areas
Indications declared by the manufacturer: product specifically indicated for the scalp, with the aim of stimulating growth and revitalisation of the hair follicle, reducing hair loss and improving hair quality and thickness. The range also includes reinforcement of the eyebrows.

Technique and treatment protocol
Superficial microinjections into a clean, disinfected scalp, under aseptic conditions. In the Nucleofill® range the manufacturer supplies a 30G × 13 mm needle with the 2 ml references.
Promoitalia does not publish in the product data sheet the number of sessions, the interval between them or the dose per point for this reference. The binding protocol is the one set out in the instructions for use included in the pack and in the manufacturer's official training.

Contraindications and warnings
Known hypersensitivity to any of the components; active infection, inflammation or lesion of the scalp in the treatment area; coagulation disorders or anticoagulant therapy; autoimmune diseases; ongoing oncological treatment; pregnancy and breastfeeding; patients under 18 years of age.
