Nucleofill® 20 — designated Nucleofill® Medium by the manufacturer — is the polynucleotide gel from Promoitalia formulated at 2 % PDRN with a molecular weight of 2,500 kDa. The polydeoxyribonucleotides act on membrane receptors of the fibroblast and stimulate the synthesis of type I collagen, with a hydrating, lifting and free-radical scavenging effect. Syringe of 1.5 ml with two 30G 13 mm needles included.

Composition and technology
- Polynucleotides (PDRN): gel at 2 % polydeoxyribonucleotides.
- Molecular weight: 2,500 kDa.
- pH: between 6.8 and 7.2.
- Viscosity: 28–43 Pa·s.
Mechanism of action described by the manufacturer: the polynucleotides activate two types of membrane receptor on the fibroblast and trigger biological regeneration processes. The gel provides hydration through its hydrophilic groups, acts as a free-radical scavenger and stimulates the production of type I collagen and the maturation of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts, which is the source of the lifting effect.
Promoitalia does not publish the biological origin of the polynucleotides in this reference in its product documentation; for that reason no source is stated here.

The difference between Medium (Nucleofill 20) and Strong lies in the PDRN concentration and, consequently, in the viscosity of the gel: the higher the viscosity, the greater the lifting effect and the lower the diffusion in the tissue.

Technique and treatment protocol

Storage and pack contents

Known hypersensitivity to any of the components; active skin infection, inflammation or lesion in the treatment area, including active herpes simplex; coagulation disorders or anticoagulant therapy; autoimmune diseases; ongoing oncological treatment; pregnancy and breastfeeding; patients under 18 years of age.
