JALUPRO® Young Eye is the Professional Derma formulation developed specifically for the periocular area, the thinnest skin of the face and the first to age. It expands the usual JALUPRO® cluster to seven amino acids, incorporates three peptides and uses dual-density hyaluronic acid, chosen to hydrate without increasing oedema in an area prone to fluid retention. It is supplied in a 1.0 ml pre-filled syringe.

Composition and technology

Why a specific formulation: the skin of the eye contour is the thinnest of the face and ages more rapidly. A product with excessive hygroscopic capacity in this location may accentuate under-eye bags and palpebral oedema. The choice of a dual-density hyaluronic acid and the extension of the amino acid profile respond to this requirement, and are the difference from the rest of the injectable range.

All four share the same amino acid replacement principle; they differ in the molecular weight of the hyaluronic acid, the amino acid profile and the target area.
Indications and treatment areas
Indications according to the manufacturer:
- Periorbital wrinkles and crow's feet
- Visible dark circles under the eyes
- Bags and laxity of the periocular area, where these are related to skin thinning and sagging
- Loss of firmness and density of the eye contour skin
- Revitalisation and prevention of ageing of the periocular area
Treatment area: exclusively the periocular area (eye contour).
Technique and treatment protocol
- Injection plane: deep layers of the dermis.
- Material recommended by the manufacturer: 32G needle or 30G cannula.
- Presentation: pre-filled syringe ready to use, with no prior mixing.
Because of the thinness of the tissue and the proximity of vascular structures, application requires refined technique and knowledge of periorbital anatomy. Avoid superficial injection, which may produce visible irregularities in this area.

Storage and pack contents
The pack contains: 1 pre-filled syringe of 1.0 ml of JALUPRO® Young Eye.
Sterile single-use product. Store protected from direct light and heat sources, under the conditions stated on the packaging. Do not freeze. Do not use after the expiry date.
Contraindications and warnings
Do not apply in case of known allergy to any of the components; infections, active inflammation, lesions or dermatoses in the treatment area; autoimmune disease or ongoing immunotherapy; keloid tendency. Not recommended in pregnancy and breastfeeding or in patients under 18 years of age.
Assess carefully cases of palpebral bags of fatty origin or of chronic oedema, in which the product is not appropriately indicated.
