JALUPRO® Classic is the original product of the Amino Acid Replacement Therapy developed by Professional Derma. It is a two-component system for extemporaneous reconstitution: vials of lyophilised amino acids — glycine, L-proline, L-leucine and L-lysine — which are dissolved in low-molecular-weight sodium hyaluronate immediately before injection. Within the injectable range it is the reference for body biorevitalisation, scars and hair support.

Composition and technology
JALUPRO® Classic is supplied as two separate components that are mixed at the time of use:

Principle of amino acid replacement therapy: the fibroblast synthesises collagen from amino acids. Glycine and L-proline are the predominant residues of the collagen triple helix; L-lysine is involved in the cross-linking of the fibres. The manufacturer formulates the product to deliver these building blocks of synthesis directly to the tissue, while the low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid acts as the vehicle and provides hydration.
Lyophilisation keeps the amino acids stable until the moment of application: the solution is prepared in the clinic and used immediately.

All four share the same amino acid replacement principle; they differ in the molecular weight of the hyaluronic acid, the amino acid profile and the target area.
Indications and treatment areas
Indications according to the manufacturer:

Treatment areas: face, neck, décolleté, hands, inner thighs, abdomen, knee region and axillae. Scalp.
Technique and treatment protocol
Reconstitution: transfer the contents of the sodium hyaluronate vial into the vial containing the lyophilised amino acids. Shake gently until completely dissolved. Use immediately after mixing.
Technique: intradermal injection in superficial papules with a 30G needle, spacing the papules 1.5 to 2 cm apart.
Anaesthesia: the manufacturer recommends applying a topical anaesthetic cream to the area before the procedure.
For the correction of wrinkles and depressions, linear retrograde injection may also be used, inserting the needle along the furrow and releasing the product during progressive withdrawal. If necessary, apply light massage to shape the treated area.

Storage and pack contents
The pack contains:
- 2 vials of lyophilised amino acids
- 2 vials containing 30 mg of sodium hyaluronate
Sterile single-use product. Store protected from direct light and heat sources, under the conditions stated on the packaging. Do not freeze. Do not use after the expiry date. Once reconstituted, the product must be used immediately and cannot be stored.
Contraindications and warnings
Do not apply in case of known allergy to any of the components; infections, active inflammation, lesions or dermatoses in the treatment area; autoimmune disease or ongoing immunotherapy; keloid tendency. Not recommended in pregnancy and breastfeeding or in patients under 18 years of age.
