HYAcorp Fine is the skin-quality reference from BioScience GmbH: a highly purified resorbable cutaneous implant formulated with non-cross-linked sodium hyaluronate at 14 mg/ml. Unlike the rest of the HYAcorp range, it is not designed to provide volume or to fill folds, but to replace the hyaluronic acid lost from the skin and to improve its hydration and elasticity.
- HA 14 mg/ml, non-cross-linked
- Contents 1 syringe × 1.0 ml
- Plane mid dermis
- Without lidocaine
- Single use
Composition and technology
1 ml of HYAcorp Fine contains:
- Sodium hyaluronate: 14 mg
- Sodium chloride: 6.9 mg
- Water for injections q.s. to 1 ml
The formulation contains no cross-linked hyaluronic acid: it is the only reference in the HYAcorp range without a cross-linked component, which determines its behaviour in the tissue and its indication.
Highly purified resorbable cutaneous implant, obtained from hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin produced by fermentation. Single-use product, to be applied by medical personnel only.
Differences between the HYAcorp references
| HYAcorp Fine — 1 ml | Non-cross-linked HA 14 mg/ml. Skin quality: hydration and elasticity. Mid dermis. |
|---|---|
| HYAcorp Lips — 1 ml | HA 18 mg/ml (16 cross-linked + 2 free). Lip volume and contour. |
| HYAcorp Face — 2 ml | HA 22 mg/ml (20 + 2). Moderate and deep folds, nasolabial folds, cheeks, glabella. Mid dermis. |
| HYAcorp MLF1 — 10 ml | HA 22 mg/ml, particle size 200–350 µm. Calves, concave deformities, hands. Subcutaneous / supraperiosteal. |
| HYAcorp MLF2 — 10 ml | HA 22 mg/ml, particle size 300–500 µm. Buttocks and larger volume augmentations. Subcutaneous / supraperiosteal. |
Fine is the only non-cross-linked product in the range and therefore the only one that does not act as a volumising filler. Lips and Face are facial fillers; MLF1 and MLF2 are body implants whose use in the face is contraindicated.
Indications and treatment areas
According to the manufacturer, HYAcorp Fine is indicated to:
- Replace the hyaluronic acid lost from the skin
- Increase skin elasticity
- Improve skin hydration
- Give the skin a fresh appearance with a lifting effect
The achievable result depends on the skin type and on the change requested. The manufacturer does not specify a closed list of anatomical areas in its product documentation.
Technique and treatment protocol
- Implantation plane: mid dermal tissue, with homogeneous distribution across the treated area.
- Preparation: prepare the area antiseptically; remove the syringe from the blister, take off the cap and fit a suitable needle to the Luer Lock connector.
- Needle: the package insert that BioScience provides for this formulation specifies implantation using a 30G nanoneedle.
- Distribution: after implantation, gently massage the treated area to ensure even distribution of the product.
- Syringe graduation: this is an indicative reference to the nominal volume of 1 ml, not a measuring function.
- The product must not be mixed with other injectable preparations.
- Aftercare: avoid exposure to intense heat (sun, solarium, laser, IPL). Used syringes and needles are considered contaminated and must be disposed of in accordance with the rules of medical practice.
Note on the source: BioScience distributes this same formulation (sodium hyaluronate 14 mg/ml, NaCl 6.9 mg/ml) under two trade names, and the package insert linked from the HYAcorp Fine data sheet is published under the name GeneFill FINE. The technique data given here come from that manufacturer document.
