ExoJuv is a two-vial system from Oreon Life Science (Seoul, South Korea) based on extracellular vesicles of plant origin obtained from Centella asiatica. The 50 mg lyophilised vial provides more than 5 billion plant exosomes and is reconstituted immediately before the session with a second 5 ml vial containing a complex of amino acids, sodium hyaluronate, glutathione and niacinamide. It is conceived as an adjunct to procedures that open the skin barrier — microneedling, fractional laser — not as a filler product.
- Origin plant (Centella asiatica)
- Concentration > 5 billion exosomes
- Contents 1 vial 50 mg + 1 vial 5 ml
- Preparation reconstitution in 3–5 min
- Application topical on permeabilised skin
Composition and technology
- Vial 1 — lyophilised powder, 50 mg: extracellular vesicles of plant origin derived from Centella asiatica. More than 5 billion exosomes per vial according to the manufacturer.
- Vial 2 — activating solution, 5 ml: complex of amino acids, sodium hyaluronate, reduced glutathione and niacinamide.
- Declared mechanism: the plant extracellular vesicles act as vehicles of intercellular signalling; the manufacturer attributes to them an antioxidant effect and support for skin repair processes. The activating solution provides hydration and a substrate for synthesis.
Note on the origin: ExoJuv is of exclusively plant origin. It contains no exosomes of human or animal origin, and no growth factors of cellular origin.
Indications and treatment areas
Product for professional use for skin revitalisation and as an adjunct to aesthetic procedures in adult patients.
- Improvement of skin texture and tone
- Dull skin and lack of radiance
- Fine lines and early signs of ageing
- Adjunctive use and recovery after microneedling, fractional laser or radiofrequency
Areas: face, neck, décolletage and dorsum of the hands.
Reconstitution and treatment protocol
- Reconstitution: transfer the contents of vial 1 (lyophilised powder) into vial 2 (5 ml activating solution), shake and leave to stand for 3 to 5 minutes until completely dissolved.
- Immediate use: use the reconstituted product in the same session. Do not store the mixture.
- Application: topical, on skin permeabilised by the preceding procedure — microneedling or fractional laser — in order to favour transepidermal penetration.
- Sessions: the manufacturer does not publish a fixed number of sessions or a defined interval. The distribution documentation places the persistence of the result at between 6 and 12 months, with booster sessions within that same range.
Regulatory warning: the product is marketed in Europe as a cosmetic for professional use. The intradermal or subdermal injection of products containing exosomes has no established regulatory framework in the European Union and is not covered by an authorisation either as a medical device or as a medicinal product. Some of the distribution documentation circulating about this product mentions mesotherapy techniques; that route is not given here as an indication. Responsibility for the route of administration lies with the practitioner, who must comply with the applicable national regulations and with the documentation accompanying the product.
