Intended use
Joining of two syringes with a Luer Lock connection for mixing and homogenising their contents, without exposing the product to the environment.
- Preparation of Radiesse® with lidocaine or with saline before injection.
- Dilution or hyperdilution of injectable implants according to the applicable protocol.
- Transfer of product between syringes in aesthetic medicine procedures.
Procedure: attach both syringes firmly to the ends of the connector, verify that the Luer Lock threads are properly tightened and transfer the contents from one syringe to the other as many times as necessary until a uniform mixture is obtained. The number of passes and the dilution ratios are established by the official documentation of the implant to be mixed: for Radiesse®, the Merz Aesthetics instructions for use detail the ratios permitted for each indication.
