Plinest® Hair is the variant of the Mastelli range intended for the scalp: PN-HPT® polynucleotides at 7.5 mg/ml — 15 mg per 2 ml syringe — applied intradermally to act on the perifollicular environment. Its protocol is structured in two phases, with an intensive loading phase followed by a maintenance phase, and it is also used on the eyebrows and beard.

Composition and technology
- PN-HPT® polynucleotides: 7.5 mg/ml, that is 15 mg per 2 ml syringe.
- Origin: trout gonads from aquaculture intended for human consumption, subjected to Mastelli's proprietary high-purification process, which removes proteins and contaminants of potential allergenic character.
- PN-HPT® (Polynucleotides High Purification Technology): technology patented by Mastelli S.r.l., the company that introduced polynucleotides into aesthetic medicine.
- Mechanism of action: trophic and stimulating action on the dermal tissue of the scalp. The polynucleotides activate the fibroblast to synthesise extracellular matrix, bind water as polyanionic polymers and exert an antioxidant action, creating a more favourable perifollicular environment.
- The formulation contains no hyaluronic acid, growth factors, vitamins or antiandrogenic drugs.

Important clarification: Plinest Hair, Plinest Fast and Plinest Eye declare the same PN-HPT® concentration (7.5 mg/ml) and the same presentation (2 ml syringe). The difference between them lies in the registered indication, the treatment area and the session protocol, not in the concentration of the active substance. Plenhyage XL Strong, which is marketed alongside this range, does not belong to the Mastelli family: it is a brand of Bioformula S.r.l.

Plinest Hair acts on the dermal environment of the follicle. It does not replace pharmacological treatment of androgenetic alopecia; it is used alone or in combination within a therapeutic plan defined by the clinician.
Technique and treatment protocol
- Injection plane: intradermal.
- Technique: microdeposits, with an infiltration of approximately 0.2 ml per point.
- Needle: 30G ½" (13 mm); 2 units included.
- Two-phase protocol:
- Phase I: 4 sessions at intervals of 7 to 14 days.
- Phase II: 4 further sessions at intervals of 21 to 30 days.

Storage and pack contents
- Storage: between 2 °C and 25 °C, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not freeze.
- Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
- Sterile single-use product. Do not reuse or re-sterilise.
- The pack contains: 1 pre-filled syringe of 2 ml, 2 needles 30G ½", instructions for use and traceability labels.
Contraindications and warnings
Known hypersensitivity to any of the components; pregnancy and breastfeeding; active autoimmune diseases; active infection or inflammation of the scalp in the treatment area; coagulation disorders or anticoagulant therapy; ongoing oncological treatment; patients under 18 years of age.
As this is a product of fish origin, assess any history of fish allergy before application.
