Aquashine Soft Filler BR, from the Revofil line of Caregen Co., Ltd. (South Korea), is the variant of the Aquashine range directed at pigmentation control. On the same base of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 15 mg/ml it incorporates a complex of four biomimetic peptides aimed at reducing melanin synthesis in the dermis, in addition to improving elasticity and texture. It is applied in the mid to deep dermis in a regimen of three sessions separated by four weeks.

Composition and technology
- Non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid: 15 mg/ml. It provides hydration and acts as a vehicle for the active complex.
- Peptide complex: oligopeptide-34, oligopeptide-51, decapeptide-23 and oligopeptide-72.
- Mechanism declared by the manufacturer: the peptide complex significantly reduces melanin synthesis in the dermis, which translates into an attenuation of hyperpigmentation, solar lentigines and ephelides. The peptides also act on elastin synthesis.
- Approach: it combines the hydration typical of a soft hyaluronic acid filler with the delivery of actives characteristic of mesotherapy, in a single pre-filled syringe.

Indications and treatment areas
Injectable product indicated for dermal revitalisation with an orientation towards pigmentation control in adult patients.
- Diffuse hyperpigmentation

Treatment areas: face, neck, décolletage and dorsum of the hands.
Technique and treatment protocol
- Injection plane: mid to deep dermis.
- Angle: approximately 30°, with the needle parallel to the direction of the wrinkle.
- Techniques: retrograde linear threading, serial puncture, cross-hatching or serial threading, according to the area and the objective.
- Needle: fine-gauge sterile needle. The manufacturer does not publish a single gauge; use the one supplied with the product or the one indicated in the instructions for use.
- Protocol: 3 sessions with an interval of 4 weeks between them.
- Duration of the result: up to 6 months according to the manufacturer, with the possibility of maintenance sessions.
- Single-use product: discard the remainder in the syringe after the session.

Storage and pack contents
- Storage: keep in the original packaging, protected from direct sunlight, under the temperature conditions indicated on it. Do not freeze.
- Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
- Sterile single-use product. Do not reuse or resterilise.

Contraindications and warnings
Contraindications: pregnancy and breastfeeding; under 18 years of age; known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or to any of the components of the formulation; active skin infection or inflammation in the treatment area; tendency to hypertrophic or keloid scarring; active autoimmune disease.
Caution: do not apply in areas with previous permanent implants. Do not combine in the same session with ablative laser, deep peeling or dermabrasion. Assess individually in patients on anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy.
Never inject intravascularly. Always consult the instructions for use included in the pack before application.
